Wedding Photographer
My name is Rhon, a 35 year old photographer based in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire with over 15 years photography experience.
I first became exposed to the world of photography in 2007, while studying media production in college. After 3 years, I finished my higher education and stepped out into the big wide world where I would gain experience within portrait, fashion, music, dance, product and wedding photography. I finally honed in on the specific areas of photography I have a natural talent and passion for under the name RELM Photography.
I got married in 2017 and obtained an even deeper appreciation and respect for wedding photography once I received my own photos, which has really been a great help within my business!
My main focus is now is capturing my clients in a natural yet creative way. I love natural light, candids and warm rich warm tones.
Everyone deserves to have images of themselves they can be proud of, no matter how introverted, nervous or awkward they have convinced themselves they are. I love to work my charm and bring people out of their shells so that they are truly happy with their photo memories!
Being able to document an important time in someone’s journey of life means the world to me and I am so blessed to be in the position to give that gift to people.
Since having my first baby boy in April 2022, and second baby boy in April 2026 I've again found a deeper passion for documenting all moments big and small.
I'm based in Bedfordshire, however I travel all around the UK.
My photography style
Natural, honest & full of feeling
My photography style is natural, documentary and, above all, honest. I want to capture your day as it really happened... the belly laughs, the happy tears, the nervous moments, the little glances and all the in-between moments that you might not even realise are happening. I’m not a fan of stiff, overly posed photographs; I much prefer to let things unfold naturally and capture the real emotion as it happens. I’ll gently direct you when needed for group photographs and a few couple portraits, but for the most part, I’ll be moving around quietly and discreetly, letting you get on with enjoying your day until you almost forget I’m there.
When it comes to editing, I love images that feel warm and bright, with beautiful natural tones that bring the atmosphere of the day back to life. I also have a soft spot for black and white photographs, especially when they’re contrasty and full of emotion - sometimes stripping away the colour makes the feeling of a moment even stronger. And if you’re feeling a little awkward in front of the camera, don’t worry, I’ve got you! I’ll pull the occasional ridiculous face from behind my camera, tell you something daft or generally do whatever I can to get that proper, genuine smile out of you. I’m all about capturing *you*, not creating a version of you that looks like you’ve been told exactly how to stand.
I’ve photographed weddings, families and special moments across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, including Leighton Buzzard, Luton, Dunstable, Bedford, Woburn, Ampthill, Harpenden, Hitchin, Stevenage, St Albans, Milton Keynes and Aylesbury. These places feel particularly special to me because they’re not just locations on a map... they’re home. I grew up in Luton, got married and moved to Dunstable, and then moved to Leighton Buzzard when I was pregnant and starting my own family. So photographing people and their stories across these familiar towns and the surrounding countryside feels like a lovely continuation of my own story too.
Ultimately, I want you to look back at your photographs and remember "exactly how it felt to be there" - not just what everything looked like.

Oooo.. now that's a hard one! I'd say it's between The Next Three Days (2010) and The Parent Trap (1998)... I also never get tired of watching Mean Girls (2004).

Call me boring or whatever but I am obsessed with WATER!!!
My fave wine at the moment is Gallo Moscato.
What I do for fun?
These days I'm more of a home body... Most of my time is devoted to my kids and seeing the world in a new way through their eyes. I also enjoy a night in with my friends having a games night or karaoke. I am however a thrill chaser, so if I ever have the chance to go on a rollercoaster trust me I'm on it!
