Ben and Lucy’s Beautiful Village Wedding in Braughing, Hertfordshire

Saint Mary The Virgin Braughing Church and Cottered Village Hall were the perfect choices for Ben and Lucy's special day.

Getting married in Lucy's home village was very important to her and her tight-knit family. Surrounded by family and close friends, the couple exchanged their vows in the beautiful and cosy centuries old church filled with laughter and love.

Family was definitely the highlight of the day, Lucy's bride prep was surrounded by her mum, sisters and her sweet newborn son Flynn. Lucy wore a beaut plunge button front tonal embroidered dress with flutter sleeve from Hope & Ivory, then went with pure comfort with her customised converse trainers as he wedding shoes, bringing a splash of personalisation to her bridal look. Her bridesmaids looked equally stunning in coordinating celery green floating dresses from Ever Pretty!

Family and friends were treated to a day full of love, joy, and some absolutely scrumptious food!

The couple celebrated their love with a beautiful ceremony, a confetti walk made from delicate dried petals and a romantic fairy light lit reception. Ben and Lucy were both radiant and beaming with smiles all day as they reflected on how far they had come during the heartfelt speeches.

After meeting on Bumble, their first date was in Hertford at Baroosh. Ben got there he thought he’d been catfished as another girl approached him looking for her date & Lucy showed up thinking this is going to be a quick drink he’s already chatting to another girl… anyway a few drinks later and the lights came on in the bar ready for them to close & the date was a success!
