Whirlwind romance stopped in its tracks... But love conquers all.

Alex and Hanna met online in January 2019. Conversation flowed so smoothly they couldn't wait to meet in person and they did just that the following week. They continued to date for around 9 months before Alex decided to pop the question in September of that very same year!

Alex managed to recreate their first date where they met in London but this time in a bit of a hotter climate. With Alex being a Brighton beach boy and Hanna being a Brazilian bombshell, it was only right that they got engaged on the shores of a beach in Brazil!

They had planned their perfect wedding down to a T which was due to take place in April 2020, however COVID-19 put a halt to their plans. They waited patiently and prayed that restrictions would be lifted to enable them to become married and have some form of celebration, even if that meant not being able to celebrate with family and friends until later that year.

Finally they received the news they were hoping for and became man and wife on 9th July 2020. With restrictions still in place they had two witnesses at a local registry office and then an outdoor social distance blessing with 30 guests in a field next to a forest in Hertfordshire. I was so honoured to be able to capture this special day for them which they will now treasure forever.
